Frequently asked questions

Do you offer retainer or monthly blocks?

Yes. Many clients prefer 40–160 hour monthly blocks for predictable delivery and simple procurement. Retainers can be discounted based on volume.

Can you switch to a fixed price?

Absolutely. We often start hourly for discovery, then convert to milestone-based pricing once scope is stable.

What about overtime or rush work?

Rush or after-hours delivery can be accommodated by prior agreement and may carry a premium.

C2C / Freelance Rate Disclosure

ScriptForge Inc. (“ScriptForge”) provides software development, engineering, and consulting services on a Corp-to-Corp (C2C) and freelance basis.

  • Our standard rate is $[X] CAD per hour, exclusive of applicable taxes.
  • This rate applies uniformly to development, DevOps, data engineering, consulting, and support.
  • Engagements are billed on an hourly basis, with time tracked and recorded in good faith.
  • Invoicing will occur bi-weekly or monthly, per the agreement.
  • Payment is due within [Net 15 / Net 30] days of invoice issuance unless otherwise agreed in writing.
  • ScriptForge may review and adjust rates periodically; any change will be communicated at least 30 days in advance.
  • By engaging ScriptForge on a C2C or freelance basis, the client acknowledges and accepts these hourly rate terms.
